Per Block, Departmental Research Lecturer at Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science, will be giving an invited talk this Thursday, 17 September, as part of Social Simulation Week 2020, a global virtual event from 14-18 September.
Per will be joining the workshop 'Agent-based models of social networks: Integrating agents' decision-making to network dynamics'. He will be discussing simulating disease spread with statistical network models to design behavioural recommendations.
Launched by ESSA, The European Social Simulation Association, the event celebrates the role of social simulation research in improving our understanding of societies, economies and cultures. It brings together scholars, professionals and practitioners who want to share their recent research in a collaborative framework.
