Dr Francesco Rampazzo at the Department of Sociology and Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science is seeking a research assistant for a 12-week project that uses image sales data and their tags and descriptions to study the representation of families. The project involves creating a searchable dataset using SQL and running descriptive analysis to extract insights on image sales trends.
The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of Python and/or R, experience or interest in working with databases, and knowledge of Git and version control systems. The rate of pay is £17.02/hour plus relevant annual leave entitlement.
