Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science at EPC 2026

LCDS researchers are presenting work across health, mortality, fertility, migration, family, digital demography, inequalities and new data methods at the European Population Conference 2026 in Bologna.

Researchers from the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science will be presenting a wide range of work at the European Population Conference 2026, taking place in Bologna, Italy, from 3-6 June 2026. EPC 2026 is organised by the European Association for Population Studies in collaboration with the University of Bologna.

LCDS researchers and collaborators will contribute to sessions on health and mortality, fertility, migration, family and partnerships, digital demography, intergenerational mobility, historical demography, and new data and methods.

Taken together, these contributions highlight the breadth of LCDS research at EPC 2026. Centre members are presenting work across health, mortality, fertility, migration, family dynamics, digital demography, intergenerational relations, and inequalities.

Beyond individual presentations, LCDS researchers are also contributing through invited sessions, workshop organisation, chairing, co-authorship, and wider collaborations, demonstrating the Centre’s active role in the international population research community.
